So hey guys, it's been a while!
Lately I've been trying to work at least 20 hours a week at my job (we're allowed a max of 25) but have also been having some health problems. School will also be starting up soon (the last week of August) but I'm hoping to get things worked out by the beginning of September.
Basically I've been super exhausted to the point where I'm having problems functioning. I generally need two of the 5-hour energy shots to stay awake at my job for a 5 or 6 hour shift and then am still tired when I get home. I wasn't sleeping well for a while to the point where I would only feel somewhat rested after 18 hours of sleep on my days off. On days when I was working, I'd barely sleep at all.
Right now I've cut down to around 1 energy shot a day on days when I work with no caffeine after noon. It's helped a lot, but I'm still having problems sleeping.
The doctor I went to doesn't know what's going on so he wants a crap-ton of blood work done and sleep study. He suspects it's sleep apnea (which my mom has) but isn't ready to rule out something like lupus (which my mom also has).
So yeah. I've been trying to get my health in order so that I can be ready for school and hopefully once I'm on campus more and sleeping better, I'll be able to get on dA more often (instead of spending all my free time napping). 8D
